#WordPlayWednesday: We Must Suffer (But The Suffering Ends Though)

A predictable, stable, altogether safe road never built a champion. Calms seas never made an experienced sailor. A consistent winning streak never made an Olympian gold medalist. A scandal-free career never made an accomplished politician.

If you want all the glory that comes with being great, being revered, being respected, being talented, or just being a polished master at what you do, then you’re going to have to reconcile going through some (or quite a few) not-so-great moments. It’s the not-so-great moments that make the oh-so-great person.

Enjoy.
